My journey with Reiki began in the deepest part of my grief. I lost my baby girl, Isabella, at 31 weeks gestation – a heartbreak that changed me forever. It’s not something most people expect to read right away, but this loss was the beginning of my spiritual path, and I feel it’s where my story truly starts.

Shortly after giving birth to my “sleeping” Isabella, I received my first Reiki healing from my younger brother, Abraham. I was overwhelmed by sorrow, my mind clouded and scattered. I desperately needed something – anything – that would help me breathe again and quiet the chaos within.

After that first session, something shifted. The buzzing thoughts, the unbearable heaviness – everything settled. My mind, once filled with noise, became still. It was as if all the restless parts of me had curled up and found peace. For the first time in what felt like forever, I could take a full breath. I could begin to function, even if only for a little while.

That moment of clarity and emotional relief became the catalyst for my healing. I knew I didn’t want to stay in that dark place. I knew Isabella wouldn’t want that for me – not then, not now, not ever. Reiki became a lifeline, and I continued receiving healing from various practitioners. Over time, the path became clear: I was meant to learn and share this healing work myself.

On December 9, 2024 – three years into my journey – I received my Master attunement in Usui Holy Fire® III Reiki.

I feel deeply called to offer Reiki to others because I know firsthand how transformative it can be. I don’t claim it’s the answer—but it may be an answer for you, just as it was for me.
